Swansea veteran Britton: Clement just like Rodgers

Swansea City veteran Leon Britton has likened manager Paul Clement to Brendan Rodgers.

Britton says Clement has brought "clarity" to the training pitch.

He told the South Wales Evening Post: "He has had a massive impact, it's clear to see. We have won four out of six. The organisation and structure of the team is much better.

"He has made clear to the players what he wants from them and he has made sure he gets across the important details ahead of each game.

"He makes sure we stick to that gameplan and that's all he worries about. He does not look four or five games ahead, it just the next performance and the next game.

"Under the previous two managers I think clarity was a bit of an issue, but the gaffer has already been able to find a settled team. He has only made the odd change here and there, which helps.

"Bob Bradley tried to but he never had a winning team, so it was difficult for him to keep selecting the same side every week.

"But he is very clear on what your individual job is, everyone is on the same page and when situations arise on the field players know what they need to be doing.

"He is very similar to Brendan. All-round, the training is very organised, varied every day and very enjoyable. He gets things across well, that is similar to how Brendan worked."
