Swaziland-based Ghanaian striker Mike Mohammed is on trial at South African Premier Soccer League side Kaizer Chiefs.
The Mbabane Swallows striker has spent the whole of last week with the team in Potchefstroom.
"Mike is in camp with the team. He's still being assessed by the technical team. Contract negotiations will only take place once he has impressed," a source within the Chiefs camp told Goal.com
Reports say assistant Doctor Khumalo was instrumental in influencing head coach Stuart Baxter and the club to take Mohammed for trials.
"He caught the eye of our assistant coach about a year ago, and he recommended him to the club. We'll have to wait and see how it goes and we will possibly know soon enough," added the source.
Mohammed came close to joining AmaKhosi last season but visa problems and the return of Knowledge Musona worked against him.
