Swiss side Sion are interested in securing a loan deal for Ishmael Yartey to help their title charge.

The Ghana international has been struggling for game time at French side Sochaux where he managed only 9 appearances for the first half of the season.

The Genova-based side are ready to meet his gross monthly salary of 30,000 francs for the left-footed winger.

Yartey caught the eyes of Sion coach Sebastian Fournier during his loan stint at Servette where he scored eight goals in 31 appearances.

The 23-year-old is also being sought-after by his former side Servette who are battling relegation.

Yartey joined Sochaux in the summer from Portuguese side Benfica for a reported 2 million Euros.
