Talent Tavern: Istanbul FC's young striker Daniel Adade next big thing for Ghana football

A young Ghanaian striker, who plays for second-tier side Istanbul FC, Daniel Adade is the new kid on the block.

At just 18, the youngster is hogging the headlines in the West African country for his breathtaking performances for the Akyem Techiman based side in the ongoing National Division One League.

He is undoubtedly one of the brightest stars emerging from the country’s second-tier league, propelling his side to 7^th on the zone three table with 10 goals in all competitions so far.

Supremely talented, this young striker is known for his agility on the pitch and nimble footwork that allows him to pass through the tightest defence undeterred.

He is the poster boy for the Eastern regional based team and continues to attract lenses from a number of the stellar clubs in Ghana with a host of European clubs believed to be keeping an eye on his progress in his native country.

He is a football prodigy who has been described by Istanbul president Erdal as ‘an excellent player’ and who has been enthusiastically predicted will be “a great player” by his teammates.

The youngster has been making waves as he has managed to hone a fine playing style which is characaterised by great acceleration on the field, excellent dribbling skills and the ability to play with both foot.

Adade was sensationally dropped from the country’s Under-20 team which played at the 2013 Africa Youth Championship in Algeria.

But his qualities have been hugely touted in Ghana and could become the next big thing to emerge from the local scene.
