GHANASoccernet.com understands Hearts of Oak whiz kid Isaac Mensah is on the verge of earning a deal with South African PSL giants Kaizer Chiefs.

The 18-year-old is reported to have impressed Amakhosi technical team and head coach Steve Komphela.

Mensah, who is preparing for his third Ghana Premier League season with Hearts of Oak, is hugely talented.

He is technically gifted and has a repertoire of skills in his boots.

Mensah and 21-year-old Angola international striker Ary Papel who plays for Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto are said to be on the radar.

But it looks likely that the Ghanaian will be the first to head to Chiefs.

“Of the two, the favourite to be snatched up as soon as possible would be Mensah. He has been in a rich vein of form for his current club, Hearts of Oak, back home in Ghana, and he could be snapped up in the January transfer window,” a Soccer Laduma source at the club said.

Mensah has been busy with pre-season training with Hearts of Oak for the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season.
