Hearts of Oak Director Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has ruled out the possibility of having Frank Nelson appointed as Chief Executive of the club.

Nelson who is being touted as the successor-in-waiting of Fred Crentsil who decided against extending his stay after the expiration of his two-year mandate last month.

However Dr. Tamakloe says he will kick against any moves to have his fellow board member fill the vacant substantive post because of a possible conflict of interests.

“I can’t say much for Frank Nelson because I really don’t know him. I got to know him a couple of years ago,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“I see him as a true Phobian but I personally will not allow a member of the board to be CEO of the club.

“Because it will be like just sitting on your own judgement and I don’t want that.

“Those really running the club are the board members and if he (Nelson) is a member of the board and at the same time CEO it will not work well for the club.

“If there is a problem, I think that will disturb the running of the club.”

Hearts' management is currently being run by Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV on interim basis.
