Tanzanian giants Azam FC terminate contract of Ghanaian forward Yahaya Mohammed

Tanzanian powerhouse Azam FC have terminated the contract of Ghanaian forward Yahaya Mohammed, five months after GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news.

The former Asante Kotoko forward has been told to look elsewhere after failing to replicate the form that caught the attention of the East African outfit.

GHANAsoccernet.com revealed in June that the former Aduana Stars forward has been released by the side alongside compatriot Samuel Afful - a  report which has strenuously denied by the player.

Mohammed joined Ice Cream Makers on a three-year bumper deal in November last year but has parted ways with the club after just a year.

He has been yanked off their books and will not be involved again.

The East African side wants to shift focus on grooming talents from the club's academy.

They have decided to release the Ghanaian to free their books.
