President of Techiman City FC Charles Kwadwo Ntim has threatened to derail the start of the Ghana Premier League if his club is denied of promotion.

Tecchiman City’s promotion to the Ghanaian top flight is being challenged over allegations of bribery.

A decision is expected from the GFA’s Appeals Committee on Monday to either confirm the promotion of the Techiman-based club or otherwise.

But the President of the club Charles Kwadwo Ntim (aka Micky Charles) says the start of the league could be hampered of he is not granted his due passage to the top flight.

“If they don’t give me my due promotion, can we play football in this country?” he hinted on Happy FM.

“I am not saying much about this case because as far as I am concerned, Techiman City has qualified to the Premier League.”

The club have since been undertaking massive renovation works at its home stadium ahead of their debut campaign in the Premier League.
