Captain of Tema Youth Stephen Asare has assured their supporters of relegation survival despite losing 2-0 to AshantiGold SC on Match Day 28 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Harbour Boys hopes of beating the drop was dented at the Obuasi Len Clay when they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to the rejuvenated Miners.
Despite the setback, Asare still maintained that they will record two wins from their last two matches to survive the scare.
"I'm very confident that we can do it. I'm aware of the daunting task at hand but we cannot throw in the towel yet because we're capable of pulling it off," Asare confidently told Happy FM after the game.
"It's a promise I'm giving to our supporters, they shouldn't despair because there is two games to play which we could win and stay safe."
Tema Youth are lying 14th on the table with 34 points after 28 games.
