Tema Youth clobber Aduana to progress in FA Cup

Tema Youth dispatched Aduana Stars 3-0 on Thursday to advance to the fourth round of the Ghana FA Cup.

After a keenly contested first-half, Youth had to wait until the 77th minute to open the scoring at the Tema Stadium.

Abel Hammond's blistering header to a cross inside the box beat Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams

David Appiah added the second with a fine finish on 89 minutes.

Joshua Onika was successful in overlapping on the right before picking out Appiah who slotted it behind goalkeeper Adams again.

Tema Youth did not take their foot of the accelerator and added the third goal in the 90th minute with a volley inside the box.

The win was sweet revenge for the home side who lost 1-0 at the same venue in a Ghana Premier League third week fixture last October.
