Tema Youth head coach Edward Odoom has revealed his plans of reinforcing his squad during the transfer window which opened two weeks ago.

In what has been a difficult league campaign so far, Tema Youth registered only their fourth win of the season which propelled them to 9th on the table with a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Accra Great Olympics with goals courtesy of Malik Ismaila Antiri and James Akaminko.

Odoom highlighted his side’s growing injury list as a reason for his desire for new faces and stressed on the need for the strengthening of his squad in order to compete in the league.

“We know that when the window opens we will beef up the team. We have about twelve players out with injury and we will definitely have to register new players.

We have not finished registering our team, and we will do that to make the team stronger for the fans to enjoy good performances,” he said.

Tema Youth will next take on Liberty Professionals in Dansoman.
