There are just three days left until we reveal the final nominees for a host of The Best FIFA Football Awards, with a vast number of players and coaches eagerly awaiting the trimming of the initial shortlists.

Voting by four of football's key stakeholders: national team captains, national team coaches, select members of the media and the fans, will see those initial lists for the main individual awards (men's and women's coach and player) trimmed from 56 candidates to just 12.
3 is the number of final nominees for the majority of awards being announced on Friday. The men's and women's player and coach awards will be trimmed to three apiece, and the finalists for the FIFA Fan Award and the inaugural The Best FIFA Goalkeeper Award will be a trio of worthy candidates.
