The third edition of the Tigo Community Soccer tournament will be launched on Wednesday in Accra.
The latest edition will see the community-based tournament hit the Northern Region for the first time since its inception three years ago.
The knockout competition will be launched at the Tigo Headquarters in Accra on Wednesday.
The competition will then kick off on January 25 in the Northern Regional capital of Tamale before travelling through 18 other communities before the finals is played at Manste Agbona in Accra on June 31st.
The Tigo Community Soccer tournament is used to excite several Ghanaian football loving fans living especially in the rural areas.
The competition is also used to unearth several talents for various cubs in Ghana.
