Thursday decision day for Tottenham and Wembley capacity issue

Published on: 23 March 2017

Tottenham will learn on Thursday whether they will be able to use Wembley's full 90,000 capacity for at least 27 home matches next season.

Brent Council's planning committee will decide whether to grant the application, made by Wembley National Stadium Limited, for the extra matches at full capacity during the 2017-18 campaign.

Brent officers recommended last week that the committee give the green light - in the form of a 44-page report - as long as it is agreed Tottenham's move would prove beneficial, and not negatively impact, the local community.
