The Ashanti Regional organizer for Hearts of Oak supporters, Abass Sulley claims fans blaming Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV for the woes of the club are delusional.

Sulley's claims came after a section of the fans are insisting on reclaiming their club from the majority shareholder following barren spells under his administration.

"All the supporters who are blaming Togbe for the misfortunes of the club are not true fans," he said on Asempa FM.

"This is not the first time the Phobians have gone off as a club. This has been happening over the years, so I don't know what the supporters expect Togbe to do. It took Hearts of Oak 90 years to win the CAF Champions league. So what are they talking about."

"In 2004 when Nii Ayi Bontey and the management board of Accra Hearts of Oak used the Pobiman land as collateral for a loan from the Agricultural Development Bank to support the club. That helped the Phobians to be crowned champions of the 2004 CAF Confederations Cup," he added.

The Phobians have gone trophiless since Togbe Afede XIV took reigns of the club and after almost 8 seasons have left the fans agitated.
