Togbui Afede XIV installed new Board chairman of Hearts

The 11-member-Board of Hearts of Oak have elected Â investment banker Togbui Afede XIV as its chairman.

The Chief of the Asogli state in the Volta Region will thus head the oldest club in Ghana football as it undergoes several administrative, and structural changes since going public with its ownership.

Togbui Afede is now the single majority shareholder in the club with nearly 40 percent stake.

The new Board which includes; E. M. Commodore-Mensah, Alhasan Adani, CEO of the club Fred Crentsil, Apiigy Afenu, Frank Nelson Nwokolo and Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe are now the highest decision making body of the club.

The others members are; Professor Kofi Kumado, Hon. David Lamptey, Judge Ivy Heward-Mills and Alhaji Moro Akabi.
