Tommy Moller Nielsen left Kumasi on Monday following the confusion surrounding his appointment as technical director of Asante Kotoko.

Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, a benefactor of the club and a candidate for the General Manager position, sent the Danish trainer to the Garden City.

The former Rangers First Team coach was at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday to watch the team suffer a 3-1 defeat to league champions AshantiGold in the Otumfuo Cup.

But there is uncertainty surrounding his appointment as the current board and management have no idea about his coming.

According to GHANASoccernet.com sources, Nielsen will return if his position is clarified.
