Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will be looking to bounce back from defeat to Hoffenheim last time out when they entertain Mainz at the Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 15:30CEST/13:30GMT).

Robert Lewandowski is expected to make his 100th Bundesliga appearance for Bayern against Mainz this weekend. The Pole has, remarkably, notched 80 top-flight goals for the Bavarians since making the switch from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, more than any other player in their first 100 Bundesliga outings for one club.
Elsewhere for the hosts, James Rodriguez is expected to be involved from the start once again. The Colombian superstar came within inches of a debut assist at Hoffenheim on Matchday 3 and was impressive in midweek against Anderlecht in the UEFA Champions League. There remains a problem at left-back for Bayern, however: both David Alaba and Juan Bernat are out injured, with Rafinha expected to deputise.
Mainz will welcome back a creative attacking midfielder of their own: after missing last weekend's win against Bayer Leverkusen through illness, Alexandru Maxim is back in training and should feature at the Allianz Arena. There are no new injury concerns for the 05ers' head coach Sandro Schwarz, although Danny Latza is a doubt with a minor calf problem.
