Ex-international Tony Baffoe is advocating for autonomous body to run the Ghana Premier League for improvement.

He believes this is the only way to make the Ghana top-flight wrestle with other advanced leagues on the continent.

“The league should be run by an independent body. We can have a chairman, a CEO and a proper competition department, that is my point of view,” the Professional Football Association of Ghana General Secretary told Metro FM.

“You can even ask Abra-Appiah, I have given him and the President (Kwesi Nantakyi) a document and the GFA discussed during the Executive Committee sitting on how we can reorganize and beautify the game.”
