Head coach of Great Olympics Godwin Attram has received backing from Anthony Baffoe as he continues to endure a difficult start to his coaching reign at the club.

The Wonder Boys’ return to the elite division has been underwhelming so far as they are struggling to win matches after week 8 of the ongoing campaign, which has placed Attram under enormous pressure.

However, despite the air of crises in the club, former Ghana intentional Anthony Baffoe has thrown his support behind Attram to turn their fortunes around in the season.

“Godwin Attram obviously is doing well for the club, he qualified them from division one to the premier league, he was a player-coach and scored a lot of decisive goals, and was instrumental for the young players in the team,” Baffour told Asempa FM.

“Now he is the head coach in the premier league and results are not forthcoming but I believe his struggles is just due to some details he needs to correct and I think when he gets that right everything will fall in the right place.”

“Sometimes when a team is going through such period, it’s the coach that worries more than anybody else. So, I believe Olympics should give him some time to keep on with the work he is doing. He has to work with people with people who he is comfortable with because generally it’s very important in football and any other business.”

The club are currently occupying 13th position on the log with 7 points after match day 8.
