Medeama striker Nathaniel Asamoah has acknowledged the work of his coaches for their immense contribution to his rising form.

The 25-year-old finished the first half of the season as the leading scorer of the First Capital Plus League with 12 goals.

Asamoah, exploits has seen him attract attention to himself once more again.

The former Asante Kotoko man failed to make his mark in his first stint abroad with Red Star Belgrade.

The in-form striker however reserved some praise for his coaches at Medeama over his surge in scoring form.

“The coaches have had a hand in my rising form,” he said.

“Sometimes in training they give me exclusivity with the goalkeepers to just shoot at goal.

“So the coach’s influence in my form cannot be underestimated.”
