The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) have been announced as partners  for this year's MTN FA Cup grand finale dubbed the "Unmissable".

This was announced at a press briefing held on Tuesday as part of activities to welcome the giant trophy into the northern regional capital and the host city Tamale.

FA Cup Committee chairman Mr. Kurt Okraku who announced the partnership added that the GTA has agreed to sponsor a "Guinea fowl night"  on the eve of the final match.

Marketing Manager for the Tourism Authority Mr. Ben Nsiah who attended the press conference, stated that as a partner, they will present smocks in the colours  of the two finalists Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko to supporters of the two clubs to be used during the game.

He revealed that this is in line with the Authority's policy to promote Made in Ghana clothing.

The GTA will run media- based promos in the Greater Accra Region, Ashanti and  Brong Ahafo regions that will see 15 people given an all expenses paid trip to Tamale and back.

It will also sponsor media personnel to cover the match in Tamale.

This is the first time Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will be facing each other in a final match in the Northern part of the country.

The FA Cup Committee and the chairman of the Northern Region football association earlier visited the Regional minister with the trophy.
