The 22-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Congolese giants after passing a medical on Monday.
The former Ghana Under-20 star has already begun training with the Lubumbashi-based side.
The club’s Accra Representative Nana Oduro Sarfo, who led the negotiations has confirmed details have been sorted out.
“I have received everything and brought it to Ghana. I received cash and so they don’t owe us,†Sarfo told Kumasi-based Fox FM
“They paid $400,000 for his services and so we can confirm that the deal is officially concluded.
“They were initially reluctant  because other clubs were prepared to take $150,000 for the services of their players.
“But we are a professional club with strong bargaining power and so we concluded on the said amount.â€
The potential of the exciting former Heart of Lions pocket size midfielder has never been in doubt since he emerged on the local scene and his departure will be a massive blow to Chelsea fans.
He was a member of the Ghana’s Under-20 team that clinched Africa’s first ever gold medal at the 2009 World Youth Championship held in Egypt.
