DR Congo-based duo Solomon Asante and Yaw Frimpong will arrive in country on Sunday evening for Ghana’s AFCON 2015 double qualifiers against Uganda and Togo.

The duo is making a return to the team after being overlooked for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Frimpong had a late call up to replace Daniel Opare, who has been battling injuries since moving to Portuguese giants FC Porto.

Asante got the nod ahead of Middlesbrough’s Albert Adomah who was at the World Cup and debuted.

Both players have been instrumental in TP Mazembe’s journey to the semi-final of the CAF Champions League.
