English giants Arsenal and 2012/13 Uefa Champions League finalist Borussia Dortmund are among several stellar European sides who have scouted Ghana attacker David Accam.

Accam, 22, has taken the Swedish top-flight by a storm since joining Helsingborg from lower-tier side Östersunds FK last season.

Arsene Wenger sent scouts to watch the youngster who started his career playing as a schoolboy in England for a non-league side.

German side Borussia are also one of the clubs said to be following the attacker with huge interest.

However Accam is prepare to overlook interest from big-name European sides to concentrate fully on his development at Helsingborg as he has played on a top-flight league for less than two seasons.

"There is no risk that I will leave Helsingborg this summer," he told Fotbolltransfers.com.

"I prefer to stay here and continue my progress. I am satisfied with the season but believe I can do better and I still have much to learn.

"It's encouraging to hear about the interest, but we play nice football and that is the reason many clubs come to watch our matches."

Accam has one Ghana cap.
