Ghanaian youth full-back Masahudu Alhassan could be heading to German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg when the summer transfer window opens, according to reports in the Italian media.
But the Wolves must beat off competition from Freiburg to land the talented defender.
The 21-year-old who is co-owned by Udinese and Genoa has impressed scouts from the German clubs and they are both ready to make offers to sign him when the transfer window opens in August.
Alhassan is currently on loan in the Italian second-tier league (Serie B) with Latina where he has completed 24 games so far in the season with 27 appearances.
Genoa, who initially signed the player will demand around ââ¬1.7 million from the German clubs together with Udinese who later acquired partial transfer rights with the 2012 Ghana AFCON defender.
