Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu will not quit Italian side Udinese for Liverpool until after the end of the 2014 World Cup, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Liverpool scouts have kept tabs on the 23-year-old and Barry Hunter - the Reds chief scout, was reportedly in the stands at the Estadio Communale Fruili when the Black Stars midfielder scored a goal of the season contender against Lazio last week.

However, despite Liverpool's keen interest in the former Berekum Arsenal midfielder, Udinese would only allow him to leave after the 2014 World Cup.

Udinese's move are embedded in their ambition to sell the Ghanaian for a higher price if he excels at the World Cup.
