Italian Serie A duo Sampdoria and Chievo Verona are in hot race to sign Ghanaian youth international Alfred Duncan on loan from Inter Milan, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The 21-year-old will revert to Inter Milan next week after ending his loan spell at relegated Livorno and Sampdoria and Chievo are expected to try and beat each other to sign the youngster.

Sampdoria are seeking to become partial owners of the player, according to reports in Italy while Chievo just want him on a season long loan spell.

Duncan has played 31 Serie A games for Livorno since joining at the start of the season from Inter.
