German Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg have identified Ghana international defender Masahudu Alhassan as solution to their left-back problem, according to reports in Italy.

The Germans have been following the progress of the Ghanaian all season while he was on loan Latina in the Italian Serie B.

Wolfsburg scouts are satisfied with the work rate of 21-year-old who started 42 games and scored once for Latina last season from a left-back role.

The 2012 Ghana AFCON defender must return to Udinese for pre-season but Wolfsburg officials will try to sign the Ghana for next season.

GSN, what kind of problem does Wolfsburg have on their LB position? They have the young Swiss international Ricardo Rodriguez there which already belongs to one of the best LBs in Europe. I even think he was the defender with the most scorer points in the Bundesliga last season. He's apparently chased by the big clubs (Real Madrid, Chelsea, PSG etc.). If they are interested in Alhassan then only as a possible replacement for Rodriguez. Please do your research properly. Thanks.

c hw short-sighted our Gfa can be. If we had given dis boy confidence after Stervanovic left, we wouldn't be crying 4 a left back. He has a nations cup experience for crying out load. What is wrong with Ghana at all? instead of developing de young ones, we want ready made left back. we have Schlupp, Baba Rhaman ,David Addy, and Masawudu Alhassan. let's develop dem. Asem ben koraaaa ni.Aaaaaaaaba!
