German Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg have identified Ghana international defender Masahudu Alhassan as solution to their left-back problem, according to reports in Italy.

The Germans have been following the progress of the Ghanaian all season while he was on loan Latina in the Italian Serie B.

Wolfsburg scouts are satisfied with the work rate of 21-year-old who started 42 games and scored once for Latina last season from a left-back role.

The 2012 Ghana AFCON defender must return to Udinese for pre-season but Wolfsburg officials will try to sign the Ghana for next season.
