Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Berekum Chelsea influential attacking midfielder Obed Owusu, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The player finally has passed medicals and sealed a three-year move to the Baba Yara Stadium after lengthy negotiations over financial agreement with the Blues.
Owusu had been on the radar of the Porcupine Warriors for the past two seasons and has been signed following the recommendation of head coach Didi Dramani.
The central midfielder, who can also play in an attacking role, is expected to pack bags and baggage to Kumasi and join his new team-mates.
Owusu achieved over half a century league appearances at Chelsea and netted just over ten times.
