Ghana goalkeeper Stephen Adams has reportedly telephoned Accra Hearts of Oak new coach Herbert Addo to express his willingness to join the Phobians.

The 24-year-old has been on the radar of the former African champions for two seasons but they have failed to nail him down.

But with 'title-winning' trainer Herbert Addo taking over as head coach, Adams is poised to join him at the club and reports in the media claim the shot-stopper has rang him to express his readiness to move to Accra.

Adams won his first major title as a player under the veteran tactician when he led Aduana Stars to win the Ghana Premier League trophy on their debut season.

While he is ready to move, Aduana have also received double offers from Sudanese giants Al Merreikh and an Iranian club.

If Hearts are bent on signing him, they must be ready win the financial battle with foreign clubs who have expressed interest in Adams to sign him.
