Ghana Premier League new-comers Brong Ahafo United are talking to Liberty Professionals to sign defender Tuffour Frimpong, according to reports in the local media.

At the heart of the proposed transfer is United's head coach Frimpong-Manso who is the father of the player.

The former Ghana international gallantly guided the Sunyani-based side back into the Ghanaian top-flight after close to nine season absence and is eager to build a strong side to remain in the league.

However, Liberty are hoping to land a foreign deal for the 21-year-old and would only consider allowing him to head to B/A if he fails to secure a deal abroad.

United have targeted a host a marquee signings to boost their ranks.
