Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League Great Olympics have joined city-rivals Hearts of Oak for the signature of Tema Youth attacker Bright Adjei, according to reports in the local media.

Olympics are seeking to acquire a good blend of talent and experience on their top-flight return and have identified the impressive 20-year-old for a move.

However, they must fend off a challenge from Hearts of Oak who have also expressed interest in signing the former Ghana CHAN player.

Hearts of Oak established their interest in the player after he wowed Herbert Addo with his blistering display in a pre-season game on Wednesday.

Olympics could win the race to land Adjei as the Phobians have fixed their focus on going after their main transfer targets and will only consider signing the player as an option.
