Egyptian outfit ENPPI have taken Liberty Professional defender Alfred Nelson on trial for two-weeks, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The 21-year-old will start training on Monday after arriving in the Egyptian country over the weekend.

The strong centre-back has been a long-term target of Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak as a potential replacement for Nuru Sulley.

But he has his eyes set on a bigger move with the Petroleum funded club in pole position to meet his financial demands.

He will try out with the side for two-weeks in a bid to secure a move to the club.

Nelson struggled with injuries during the second half of the Ghana Premier League last season.

He has represented Ghana at the international level having played for the Local Black Stars during the 2011 and 2014 CHAN tournament in Sudan and South Africa respectively.
