Italian Serie A side Atalanta will make a move to secure Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom on loan from Juventus, according to reports in the Italian press.

According to L'Eco di Bergamo Atalanta have been on the market for a new striker to bolster their striking department and they have identified Boakye who has returned from Elche where he  spent last season on loan in the Spanish La Liga.

While Juventus manager Antonio Conte would like to take a look at the progress of the striker in pre-season training, Atalanta are keen to acquire him.

Boakye scored 6 times in 31 appearances for Elche in the Spanish top-flight last season.

The player is co-owned by Juventus and Genoa.
