Trialist Dominic Adiyiah impresses Kalmar FF coach after debut display
Dominic Adiyiah has made an early positive impression at Kalmar FF.

Kalmar FF coach Hasse Eklund was impressed with the performance of trialist Dominic Adiyiah after Saturday’s 1-0 friendly win over Osters IF.

The Ghana striker played 77 minutes and had a nice partnership with captain for the day David Elm.

“Dominic has just done a workout and came into the team, he did it well today but need course much more time,” Eklund told the club's website.

“It was certainly fun to see him and after the short time he has been with us, he could go in and prove himself in a positive way.”

Adiyiah has one-week to prove his mettle and fight for a permanent deal.

The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup Most Valuable Player and Goal king will have another opportunity to impress against Jonkoping Sodra in a friendly on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old is a free agent after terminating his contract with financially-stricken Ukrainian top-flight side Arsenal Kyiv.
