Ambitious Turkish side Istanbul BaÅŸakÅŸehir has moved to secure the signature of in-demand Ghanaian box to box midfielder Alhassan Wakaso after signing Joseph Attamah Larweh.

The 24-year-old midfielder is certain to leave Portuguese side Rio Ave after playing a key role to help them secure European football next season.

BaÅŸakÅŸehir finished an impressive 4th in the Turkish top tier last season and want to lock down the highly sort after Ghanaian midfielder who has been linked with a host of clubs this summer.

Alhassan who is the younger brother of energetic Ghanaian midfield power house Mubarak Wakaso is said to be favouring a move to ambitious English Premier side Watford with Walter Mazzarri a key admirer of the midfielder.

If Istanbul BaÅŸakÅŸehir is able to lure Alhassan, he will join Samuel Inkoom, Nuru Sulley and Attamah Larweh all in the Turkish top league though John Boye's club has been relegated to the second tier.
