Atuahene and Esso join Hearts Board of Directors

Eric Barimah-Atuahene and Thomas Kwesi Esso have been officially appointed as Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak.

The duo’s appointment was confirmed at the fifth Annual General Meeting held at the Accra International Conference Center on Wednesday, 25th November, 2015. Barima Atuahene, who is the current chairman of the National Chapters Committee, was elected in June 2014 by the Hearts Chapters’ Committee.

"We have NCC represented on the Board and that was my idea right from the beginning when we took over endorsed by the Board," Togbe Afede XIV confirmed.

"The delay in Mr. Atuahene joining the Board as we explained was because we had to do it properly, consistent with the demands of our regulations and Companies code."

Atuahene is a former management member of the club and has vast experience on the supporters’ issues having served in various capacities on the supporters’ front.

He worked with Accountant General – Treasury Department in Sunyani. He is also an entrepreneur and CEO of O.G.G Embossment, and represents the supporters on the Board replacing former NCC Chair Alhaji Amadu Braimah Moro.

Esso has over eighteen (18) years’ working experience in auditing, accounting, taxation and investment banking.

He also worked with Databank Group of Companies for more than ten (10) years.
