Ghana defender John Pantsil is backing the country’s Under-20 to secure a win past record Argentina in their second group game in the ongoing Word Youth Championship on Tuesday.

The Black Satellites take on the title record-holders after their pulsating 1-1 draw against Austria on Saturday.

And South Africa-based defender John Pantsil is backing the team to scale past the South Americans.

“A team always faces difficulty in their first game. As you know, Ghana are slow starters when it comes to such competitions like this,” he said.

“Drawing against Austria wasn’t a bad result because at least we got a point. But I still think there is more to be done.

“Argentina obviously will be a tough one but I know the boys can do it. They should just maintain their focus and go all out.

“They have done it before and I believe they can do it this time around too. So they should go all out.”

Paintsil won silver with the Black Satellites in 2001 after losing 3-0 in the final against Argentina.
