Ghana defender John Pantsil is backing the countryââ¬â¢s Under-20 to secure a win past record Argentina in their second group game in the ongoing Word Youth Championship on Tuesday.
The Black Satellites take on the title record-holders after their pulsating 1-1 draw against Austria on Saturday.
And South Africa-based defender John Pantsil is backing the team to scale past the South Americans.
ââ¬ÅA team always faces difficulty in their first game. As you know, Ghana are slow starters when it comes to such competitions like this,â⬠he said.
ââ¬ÅDrawing against Austria wasnââ¬â¢t a bad result because at least we got a point. But I still think there is more to be done.
ââ¬ÅArgentina obviously will be a tough one but I know the boys can do it. They should just maintain their focus and go all out.
ââ¬ÅThey have done it before and I believe they can do it this time around too. So they should go all out.ââ¬
Paintsil won silver with the Black Satellites in 2001 after losing 3-0 in the final against Argentina.
