Udinese midfield star Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has been voted the 2015 Best Ghanaian foreign-based Footballer of the Year at the 3rd edition of the Ghana Sports Fans Awards.

The 25-year-old Black Stars third-in-command won the coveted award at the expense of Swansea City's Andre Ayew and Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah.

Badu's magnificent performance for the Black Stars in the calendar year and outstanding display in the Italian top-flight for Udinese won him the backing of the masses who voted massively for him to sweep the award.

The powerful midfielder whose incredible energy levels and fast-raiding midfield abilities saw him bag 5 goals for both club and country.

He has scored 3 goals in the Serie A for Udinese in the current season. His goals include strikes against AC Milan, Sampdoria and Bologna.
