Uefa Champions League: Adu Kofi's Malmo mauled by PSG and facing Europe elimination
Adu Kofi and Malmo were mauled at home

Ghanaian midfielder Enock Adu Kofi played for Malmo FF as they were condemned to a 5-0 home defeat by French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday night.

The 25-year-old former Ghana youth midfielder lasted 81 minutes at the Swedbank Stadion as PSG secured their place in the next round of the competition at the expense of the dethroned Swedish Allsvenskan champions.

Malmo were hoping to impress against PSG and secure at least a point from the game to better their chances of qualifying for the Europa League.

But PSG were in no mood to tolerate their dreams as Zlatan Ibrahimović marked his return to his first club with a goal, Ángel Di María getting two as Paris guaranteed second place in Group A.

Adu's experience from the group includes playing against Real Madrid at the group stage of the competition.

This means his season has ended as the Swedish Allsvenskan competition has also rounded up.
