Ghanaian players taste various degrees of defeat in UEFA Champions League
Kwadwo Asamoah played in Juventus' loss at Olympiakos

All three Ghanaian players involved in Wednesday night's Uefa Champions League games tasted defeats with Enock Adu Kofi being the biggest loser.

The 24-year-old midfielder was in full time action at the Estadio Vicente Calderón when Atletico Madrid made mockery of Swedish Allsvenskan title-holders by beating them 5-0.

The Spanish La Liga champions scored all five goals in the second-half.

In Greece, there was even more disappointment for Juventus as Olympiakos stunned them 1-0. The defeat has further relegated Juventus to third from bottom in Group A while Adu Kofi's Malmo are afoot the section.

In Group D, winger Frank Acheampong was a full timer for Anderlecht who slipped to a 2-1 home reverse against Arsenal. Anderlecht are still without a win from their opening three games.
