Ghana and Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is expecting a tough opposition from English side Tottenham Hotspurs when the two sides clash in the UEFA Champions League next year.

The Old Ladies of the Serie A will play The Lilywhites in the quarter finals of the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League following the draw last Monday.

Tottenhma finished first in Group H with 16 points ahead of defending champions Real Madrid while Juventus finished second behind Barcelona in Group D.

The Ghana midfielder believes Tottenham Hotspurs are a good side capable of progressing to the next stage of the competition.

“"Tottenham is solid, defends well, have gone past important teams in their group but if you want to try to win the Cup you must be able to beat anyone. All the challenges are difficult,” Kwadwo Asamoah told Sky Italia.

The two side will clash for the first leg on 13th February 2018 at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.
