UEFA Champions League: Enock Adu Kofi remains confident ahead of Real Madrid clash

Ghana international midfielder, Enock Adu Kofi has insisted he is very confident of a great performance against Spanish giants Real Madrid in tonight’s champions league clash at the Swedbandk Stadion in Malmo, Sweden.

The Malmo FF midfielder was very instrumental to the team’s first game in the competition away at PSG which the Swedish giants lost by 2-0 but the Ghanaian remains confident ahead of their clash with the most successful European club.

Adu Kofi, 25, insists that even though they lost to PSG in France, it is time for the team to put up a splendid show to prove to their fans and the football world that they can qualify from the group.

In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Adu Kofi said “It will be a very difficult game for us but we are very confident of surprising Real Madrid here.”

“The fans must be happy and that is exactly what we aim at doing. Real Madrid is a big club but we hope to upset them this evening,” he added.

The former Black Starlets midfielder has been knocking on the doors of Black Stars coach Avram Grant for an opportunity to prove his worth at the senior national team after magnificent performances for his side in the UEFA champions league last season and this season.

Adu won the Swedish Allsvenskan with Malmo FF last season and are in position to defend the title this season with four matches to go.
