Uganda coach Milutin ââ¬ËMichoââ¬â¢ Sredojevic has lamented the sacking of Kwesi Appiah as Ghana coach claiming the constant hiring and firing by African countries retards the development of the game on the continent.
Appiah was dismissed despite collecting four points from a possible six from the two opening games of the AFCON 2015 qualifiers.
The Ghana FA claimed both parties reached a mutual agreement to go separate ways last Friday.
Appiahââ¬â¢s exit came days after drawing 1-1 with Michoââ¬â¢s Uganda at the Baba Yara Stadium.
ââ¬ÅWe spoke well after the game and he was really confident of winning the next game,â⬠Micho told GHANASoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅWe all have bad days in the office and football is not logic you win some draw some and lose some but the most important thing is having the ability to always play the game in the right spirit.
ââ¬ÅAnother important aspect of the game people forget is continuity and that really important we have it in this continent.
ââ¬ÅI am really sad to hear he has been sacked.ââ¬
