Uganda leave for Kumasi today ahead of Ghana AFCON qualifier

Published on: 05 September 2014
The Cranes will land in Kumasi on Friday morning

Uganda will leave Accra in two batches on Friday morning to Kumasi- venue for Saturday’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Cranes touched down in Accra on Thursday morning after ending camping in Niamey, Niger.

The Cranes, who lost 2-0 to Niger in an International friendly on Tuesday night, will be hungry to get a good result against the Black Stars who participated in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The visitors will be hoping that they can get another good result in Kumasi like they did in 2003 when they managed a 1-1 draw in an Afcon qualifier.

Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s team will however miss their prolific striker Geoffrey Massa. The University of Pretoria striker has been left out of the squad after his club could not release him early.

These Ugandans are suffering from DELUSIONS IF GRANDEUR! The oxford dictionary, defines delusion of grandeur as considering oneself more greater, powerful and influential than they are and that's how the ugandan players, fans and coach consider themselves!! This is clearly MINNOWS THINKING MENTALITY! Ghana ll walk over them!

if this minnows could not survive Niger, whom Ghana whacked 3-0 recently, how can they survive the team that the world champions,Germany, could not beat.We would beat them hands down without sweat in Kumasi...even those mouth mouth Zambians could not survive in Kumasi.
