Hearts of Oak forward Emmanuel Hayford has revealed the team lacks unity since the appointment of coach Mohammed Polo.

The Phobians have fallen off their title charge but remain second in the top flight.

Hearts have endured an indifferent season since Polo took over from David Duncan back in November.

The club legend started out by accusing his players and the fans for lack of support during his early stormy days.

And forward Emmanel Hayford has revealed the side has only started recovering from a sharp divide.

“There is no unity in the side. It wasn’t the same during [David] Duncan’s time,” he told Metro FM.

“I believe it was what caused the slide in performance but I think things are getting better now.”
