Ghanaian midfielder Uriah Asante has suffered a broken arm and will be out for four weeks.

The 19-year-old sustained the injury while in action for Etoile du Sahel in their Premier League loss to US Monastir on Saturday.

Asante was forced off by the 30th minute after the injury and never returned.

Subsequent tests revealed he has suffered a broken arm and will be out for an estimated four-week period.

The ex Hearts of Oak star has only started playing regularly in the Tunisian top flight following his mega-money move at the beginning of the season.

He expressed his disappointment with his latest injury setback.

“I feel very sad because I thought I could be playing consistently to maintain my form and keep scoring for the club but unfortunately I am injured,” he told Radio Gold.

“I will stick to what the doctors say and I will be out for four weeks. Hopefully I will be better and come back for Etoile.”

Asante has scored two goals in four starts for the Tunisian giants this season.
