USA head Jurgen Klinsmann is confident the return of top American players will boost his squad's richness for the 2014 World Cup.

Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley (formerly of AS Roma) are among top players who have recently returned to the Major Soccer League.

And, as the Yankees begin a 12-day training programme for home-based players  in Sao Paolo, Klinsmann has expressed delight about the quality of players available to him from the American domestic league.

"We said a couple of years ago that we want to be in the top 10, top 15 in the world," he said.

MSL is getting better every year and we are working at full pace , hopefully we can prove a lot of satisfactory work already this summer."

The Americans are in the same group with Ghana, Portugal and Germany and have been viewed as underdogs  in the group.
